Dr. MacNeil received her medical degree from Dalhousie University (Halifax, NS), Otolaryngology Residency Training at the University of British Columbia (Vancouver, BC) and Fellowship in Head and Neck Oncology, Microvascular Reconstruction and Endocrine Surgery at the University of Alberta (Edmonton, Alberta). She is currently an Assistant Professor at Western University with a focus on Head and Neck Oncology, Endocrine Surgery, Microvascular Reconstruction, and Transoral Robotic Surgery.
She is Chair of the London Regional Cancer Program Head and Neck Disease Site team and a member of the Head and Neck Advisory Council for Cancer Care Ontario. Dr. MacNeil is founder of the Head and Neck Survivorship Program at the London Regional Cancer Program. She is the current Chair of Women in Otolaryngology Canada for the Canadian Society of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (CSO). Her research focus includes population-based outcomes research, systematic reviews/meta-analysis, and surgical clinical trials.
